I love this song from 'You Forgot It In People' and this is a pretty cool version from Juan's Basement over at Pitchfork. Maybe one of the coolest basslines ever. And it must be like, noon, and the drummer is already drinking beer. My kinda guy. The album version is way more tense and sonic sounding but also subsequently more smashed and flattened. I like how the song breathes here - you can get inside of it instead of hearing it from the stands.
I'm guessing this is the solo vocal from the full-up version. So, yes, he's lip-synching, but it's still absolutely heart-melting in it's depth of feeling, and a mind-blowing display of vocal mastery.
In Radiohead's new video for "House of Cards", no cameras or lights were used. Instead, 3D plotting technologies collected information about the shapes and relative distances of objects. The video was created entirely with visualizations of that data.

Who Knew Sammy Davis, Jr. was such a badass. ...Probably everyone but me. I've been trying to learn this song on guitar after hearing it on the Coleman Hawkins & Ben Webster album.
And here's a Hawk and a Bird in brief and sublime flight.
